“Sometimes when you meet someone, it feels like it must be fate. You instantly get along with the person and they become an important part of your life.” This is exactly where ambitious intern, Ana (Camilla Mendes) comes into the picture when you incidentally gets upgraded to first class on a flight to London; only to have her fate and career turned around after meeting a wealthy man, William (Archie Renaux).

The movie is directed by director and actress, Carlson Young who is known for her films such as The Blazing World and her roles in Disney Channel’s As The Bell Rings, the film Premature, Comedy Central‘s Key & Peele and the first two seasons of MTV television series Scream.  The film is produced by Mike Karz, William Bindley, Lena Roklin and Piers Tempest under the production houses Amazon MGM Studios and Gulfstream Pictures.

The movie was released on February 9th,2024 on Amazon Prime and is a modern-day re-telling of the classic fairy-tale story Cinderella. Dreaming of a career in the art world, Ana also tries to impress her boss Claire.  Besides this, she lives with her sister – Vivian and her boyfriend – Ronnie in their small apartment (despite being urged to move out).  During an art auction, Ana notices a typo and gets invited for a free trip to London as an assistant’s assistant.

To her surprise, Ana gets upgraded on her flight to London to first class where she meets William, the guy she ultimately falls in love with. However, Ana lies to him, concealing her identity and impersonating her boss Claire, saying that she is the art director of her company’s New York office. What follows after this is a series of misunderstandings and confusion between William and Ana, although they ultimately fall in love with each other.

The movie is well made and high-paced with excellent acting from the cast.
