  1. Late nights & waking up
early should not be paired together. Plan late nights, when you have the
freedom to wake up late, ensuring that the body gets enough sleep.
  2. Eat lots of fruits. They act as
a toner for the skin, and are enriched with vitamins and minerals to
cleanse and freshen up the skin.
  3. Do not squint. This can lead to
bad eyesight, and in turn one may develop dark circles.
  4. Drink plenty of water to avoid
    dehydration;
  5. Avoid going out in direct
sunlight. Wear sunglasses to protect the eyes when out in sun, and use
    sun-screen.
  6. Placing chamomile tea bags, or
cucumber, potato slices, cotton pads on the eyes are a soothing way to
cleanse the skin around the eyes, and remove eye puffiness.
  7. Avoid reading in dim light,
late at night. This may cause the eye to strain out. If reading at night,
always sit in an upright posture and use proper lighting.
  8. Get enough sleep. A minimum of
8- 10 hours is essential for the body to function properly.
