There may be many reasons to not like travelling by air but that is not what I want to highlight, but did you know that that approximately 7,000 airplanes (according to TripSavvy) are in the air at any given moment of the day.

However, as the world has turned into a global village international flights have become quite common and several overseas airliners such as Emirates, Qantas, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Air France also operate in India. This is in addition to the offers and benefits. The Indian market too is catching up with its domestic airlines: Jet Airways, Spice jet, Indigo and Air India.

Pilots
go through a lot of fallen sleep, hopping, stress; awkward and long hours
making it difficult for them fall asleep at work or not pay attention to the
huge amounts of buttons and levers in front of them.

It’s
the number of plane crashes that do occur and the recent one that did occur on
a massive scale was the Ethiopian
Airlines Boeing 737 Max Crash six minutes after take off from Addis Ababa. All
157 passengers and crew on board died.
It
was an international crash-affecting victim’s from over 35 different countries
and it continues to have a seismic affect.

How many other crashes have there been before this that have left families torn apart and damaged the environment and local neighborhood. Yet, our lives go on, as if nothing has happen (as we cant do anything- which is true) but is heartbreaking.

What
can you say to a family member who sees just the photograph over their one but
cannot see the body as it’s amongst the crash site? Hold a picture, not see a
body and just accept the truth?

However, besides all the wonderful reasons of flying, people don’t really pay heed to the insider facts, which of course do exist, no matter how pessimistic and cynical they may sound.

The plane, which recently came
down on March 10th 2019 was such a catastrophic site, it has shaken
up everyone, but what can be done and what be undone? So many plane crashes yet
remain a mystery: the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 – A Boeing 777 which
disappeared after taking off soon from Kuala Lumpur, Air India Flight 182
(1985).

Similarly,
on a yearly basis how many such accidents can we turn a deaf ear on?
 In
the past, some were the 1996 Air Africa Crash was one of the deadliest plane
crashes, the
Korean Air Flight 801 on August 6th
1997 left a horrific aftermath.

Yet,
certain airlines have been the safest and they include British Airways (only
one mid-air collision, Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways.

Boeing,
which is short to medium narrow body airliner developed by and manufactured by
Boeing Commercial Airplanes has always been a strong partner of India’s
aerospace sector for over 75 years.
Boeing
is committed to provide the most efficient and world-class services airlines in
India.

This includes Jet Airways (a Boeing
customer since the 1990s), SpiceJet, India’s cargo operators: Bluedart  India’s largest express
cargo operator, uses the 757 Freighter, and QuikJet Cargo Airlines operates a
737-400 Freighter. The Indian Ministry of Defence operates four 737-200s
and three 737 Boeing Business Jets, two new Air India 777-300ER aircrafts are scheduled
for modification for Head of State configuration. In addition many other
suppliers.

Similarly,
there are also other body airliners such as Airbus , McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed Martin and Convair in the United States, British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) and Fokker in Europe which also operate across the world.

This is JUST NOT ALL there
is to NOT KNOW about the AVIATION industry. Its casual to just get on a flight
for business/work purposes, to discover new cultures, to find themselves,
travelling or to meet your family or loved ones but there are also many other
things that need to be KNOWN!
