- Late nights & waking up
early should not be paired together. Plan late nights, when you have the
freedom to wake up late, ensuring that the body gets enough sleep. - Eat lots of fruits. They act as
a toner for the skin, and are enriched with vitamins and minerals to
cleanse and freshen up the skin. - Do not squint. This can lead to
bad eyesight, and in turn one may develop dark circles. - Drink plenty of water to avoid
dehydration; - Avoid going out in direct
sunlight. Wear sunglasses to protect the eyes when out in sun, and use
sun-screen. - Placing chamomile tea bags, or
cucumber, potato slices, cotton pads on the eyes are a soothing way to
cleanse the skin around the eyes, and remove eye puffiness. - Avoid reading in dim light,
late at night. This may cause the eye to strain out. If reading at night,
always sit in an upright posture and use proper lighting. - Get enough sleep. A minimum of
8- 10 hours is essential for the body to function properly.
