  1. Nourish your skin, and ensure you eat healthy vegetables,
fruits, grains, seeds and nuts. Some like garlic, onions, eggs, and
asparagus are rich in sulphur which helps ensure your skin remains healthy,
    smooth and glowing.
  2. Do not remain for long hours and periods of time beneath the
sun, or in cold weather. Excessive exposure to wind, chemicals or even
excessive bathing can lead to the skin dehydrating.
  3.  Apply lotion, if possible on a daily basis. This
ensures that the skin is nourished, and retains its natural qualities.
  4. Drink plenty of water through out
the day to prevent dehydration of the skin or body.
  5. Do not drink a lot of caffeinated drinks like tea, coffee or
soft drink. They have a diuretic effect, causing the body and skin cells
to lose fluids and essential minerals.
  6. Get sufficient sleep at night. The body needs a minimum of 8
hours to rest, repair and rejuvenate back to a healthy state.
  7. Do not scratch your skin, excessively. This can lead to skin
becoming rough, dry besides leaving behind scratch marks on the skin.
