Are AI Writing Tools Replacing the Authentic style of Writing?

Since its inception, Artificial Intelligence has been a simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. It is the art of making machines think. behave and act like humans. 

In turn AI, i.e., the intelligence of machines as opposed to the intelligence of human beings is capable of processing large amounts of data. It can adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks, using a family of technologies.

 

As competition is growing in every field, artificial intelligence writing tools make content based on user input. These tools can be used to create product descriptions, articles, blog posts, landing pages and much more.  AI can help speed up your content creation and even give you ideas for writing your book (if you are an author). There are many different AI writing tools that are available in today’s time and age     



Some of the best AI writing tools which can be found in the market include Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic, Wordtune, Anyword, Copyshark, Sudowrite and Neuraltext. In India, WordAI, Grammarly, GPT-3, Articoolo and Quill.   

 




1.     Jasper: Jasper is an AI writing tool which uses natural language processing to generate human-like text (based on the user input). It can be used for a variety of tasks such as generating product descriptions, writing blogs and articles, etc. It is used by a lot of authors to brainstorm ideas, generate plot outlines or character descriptions and overcome writer’s block.  

2.     Copy.ai: Copy.ai is an AI writing tool that specialises in generating copywriting and marketing content. It is very effective in giving prompt replies which are highly accurate.  

3.     Writesonic: Writesonic is An AI tool that can be used by content writers to assist in writing blog posts, articles, ad copy and creating any other type of content. Besides providing replying to prompt input, this tool also generates content suggestions.

4.     Wordtune: A different type of writing tool, Wordtune helps to improve the clarity, style and tone of the written content. It can be used for different purposes such as for emails, articles and any other type of communication.

5.     Anyword: Anyword is an AI copywriting tool which can produce engaging ad copy for digital advertising campaigns. This tool is highly beneficial to marketers and advertisers as they need to create compelling ad content which resonates with the target audience.          

6.     CopyShark: A GPT-3 powered tool, CopyShark is used as a copywriting tool.    

7.     SudoWrite: If you are looking at honing or sharpening your writing skills SudoWrite is the right AI tool for you! Not only does it provide suggestions for enhancing the style, clarity and grammar but it also integrates with word processors and writing platforms to offer suggestions and corrections. 

8.     Neuraltext: Neuraltext is an AI writing tool which All SEO content writers need to make use of! This tool can assist in creating SEO-friendly content and optimization.

9.     Word AI: AN AI tool for content creation, Word AI is used for restructuring sentences, enriching text, describing the same idea differently, improving the clarity and quality of text and splitting sentences.

10  Grammarly AI: By far, one of the most popular AI writing tools, Grammarly is well known for generating text and suggesting revisions. 

11  GPT-3: Known as Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3, this tool can be used to create stories, poems, news reports and dialogues.  

12 Articoolo: This is an Israel-based algorithm which can create proofread and textual content, actually simulating a real human writer.   

13.  QuillBot AI: Aimed at perfecting a person’s writing, this tool is an online writing tool which can paraphrase, check for grammar and plagiarism, summarise, translate, outline and create citations   

Besides this some of the alternatives of Chat GPT are Bling – by Microsoft, Google Bard AI, Chatsonic, YouChat, Perplexity AI, Character AI, Open AI Playground etc.  

All of these tools are used to provide features such as text completion, grammar check, content creation and more; leveraging the power of artificial intelligence. This can help writers to not only produce high-speed content but also content which is of high quality.

Having advanced language processing capabilities, ChatGPT, which is one of the most popular AI writing tools assists writers in creating unique content. Developed by OpenAI, Chat GPT is a natural language processing AI-driven tool which can provide you with answers to your queries. Communicating in a very conversational style, Chat GPT can also assist developers in writing codes for websites and applications.         

 AI writing tools are very effective as they can accelerate content creation, collect content, undertake repetitive and gruelling tasks, create engaging ads and social media copies, provide on-page optimisation suggestions, generate catchy taglines, optimise content for search engines and help to even overcome writer’s block.   

AI has widely been known to help authors in their plot creations and the development of characters for their fiction or non-fiction novels. 

However, there is just one lurking thought in my mind and that is with so many AI tools available for a writer, how authentic can his/her work be?
